My paintings are abstract in form and consist of playing with the paint, by using house hold paints and building layers and textures into the landscape,and currently involves the investigation into the materials used in oil painting. This includes various media and binders. This process results in differing levels of viscosity of oil.

I like to explore these elements in landscape by creating my own sense of what is really there, the invisible line, the earth and the roots of growth of plants, weeds, under the water. the layers of sky, the colours ,the change in seasons, all are included in my paintings.

I have been working on an series of city scapes which are based on views from my studio windows, of the movement of the city, the changing light of the days and nights

I have sold my paintings to private buyers, and have had exhibitions in Manchester.

Founded Studios in Bridgewater Mill in 2002 with two friends, its ethos to provide artists with affordble workspaces.

Setting up art workshops within the local commumity, providing a networking between artists and contributing to the re-generation of the area of Eccles.
